At Always Alexis Marie, photography is a way of life which finds elegance in even the most humble, shines through the unique and the bold, and revels in capturing the true colors of life.

Growing up, Alexis Marie was inseparable from her camera. She took it to summer camp (where it was stepped on by a horse!), to school, her soccer games, parties and any where cameras were allowed – and even those places they were not!

Alexis Marie has always been so excited to learn more and more about photography. As a young teen she enrolled herself in college photography courses and later went into the Fine Arts program at the University of Alberta to continue to develop her passion. In her photography classes at the University she distinguished herself as an up-and-coming photographer. Even before she had graduated she had a solo exhibition of her fine art photography and was written up in over five papers and interviewed on the radio.

Her University photography classes gave her the opportunity to experiment with fashion and food photography, which were an instant hit for Alexis Marie. She has gone on to photograph the delicacies of prominent Chef Shonn Oborowsky of Characters Restaurant and the Fall 2007 Fashion line of the funky designer Kimberly Rosadiuk of Morse Code Dezynz.

From photographing food to people, from landscapes to products, Alexis Marie is an artistic visionary and passionate image-maker whose vast experience translates gracefully into stunning and memorable photographs.
